This national event was first held in 1929, but alas 1933 marked the end of this series and it wasn’t until 2005 that a group of enthusiasts planned a revival.

In 2007 the race for veteran motorbikes, including 3-wheelers, was held on Seeboden Alp just above Küssnacht. It was a resounding success. Another hill climb followed in 2009 and a third in September of 2011. The race is slowly achieving its old recognition as a national event and this year’s competition fulfilled its promise to host a record number of competitors.
