The Yachting World Day Boat national championships. These are held every year, mostly in the south or south west of the UK. There aren’t that many boats but the competition is quite fierce. The Day Boat is, by modern standards, an old fashion clinker-built dinghy but if the wind is good then it offers some good sailing.
